Frost damage has hit a lot of our peonies. But the good news is a lot are thriving. I think it’s year six for these ladies so I expected them to be bursting with blooms. We’ll take what we can get!

Spent some time last night getting rid of the side buds on our peonies. By removing these buds all the energy goes to the mother bud to produce large, fluffy blooms!

Earth Day, but make it homegrown 🌎💐

Every stem in this arrangement was grown right here in my yard—daffodils, tulips, muscari, and hellebore 🤍

There’s just something special about letting the seasons lead and using what the earth gives you.

We took a little winter break… but the garden didn’t forget how to bloom 🌷

Tulips, daffodils, and muscari are officially waking up over here at Somerset Stems and we are so back.
