That’s a wrap on this job!
This house was a new construction previously painted by a different company, 3 times. Every wall had runs, roller fibers, uneven coverage, some spots with no coverage at all. The walls got sanded down, runs got scraped & spackled & sanded again. The trim had thick brush strokes that made the paint finish unflattering, those were sanded down, primed and rolled with a foam roller for a spray like finish. The ceiling had satin sheen paint going in different directions which did not cover with primer and 2 coats of paint, I tried another session of primer and paint & that failed, resulting in having to be sanded down, primed and painted 2 more times for a total of 8 times to achieve an even finish. The ceiling tested me but I also learned from it. My body is sore but I am thankful I was trusted to complete this job & give the homeowners a finished paint job they are happy with in their home 😊
White paint is one of the most complicated colors to use; every imperfection shows, coverage may take 3+ coats to hide scuffs/stains, lap marks can stand out. Painting the same white color over the existing white was challenging to see where I had already painted. I’m proud of the end result and the effort I put into this project.
