Welcome to Scout’s Long Form Media. Sit down and stay awhile.

Like this if you wish I had posted the version where the light string was hitting my head the whole time.

We’re now official TimberTech Pro Members!

Here’s why TimberTech decking works if you’re building in the Denver area:

Wildfire-wise: Colorado’s Wildland-Urban Interface zones require a Class A fire rating. TimberTech composites hold up better against embers and heat than traditional wood — one less thing to stress about if you’re in a WUI area (about 40% of Jefferson County).

Built for our sun: Denver gets 300+ days of sunshine a year, and that UV takes a toll on regular lumber — fading, cracking, splintering. TimberTech’s composite boards are engineered to withstand that and backed by warranty.

Freeze-thaw proof: Our swings from 70° afternoons to freezing nights wreck wood decking over time. Composite doesn’t warp, crack, or rot the way pine or cedar will.

Low maintenance, high payoff: No annual staining, no sanding, no sealing. Just wash it off and enjoy it.

Pro-backed warranty & materials: Being a TimberTech Pro member means we get direct access to their full product line, better lead times, and manufacturer-backed warranties we can pass straight to you.

If you’ve been thinking about a new deck (or replacing that old one that’s seen better days), now’s a great time to talk decking.

Longevity.

We build to try and make your materials last as long as they can.

- Simpson Avant brackets with L brackets for extra support.
- An arbor to stiffen up the structure.
- 6x6’s for added support on concrete and longer lasting material
- Cedar wood for a clean, natural look and longevity
- Every nail head coated in an epoxy
- Concrete adhesive on the anchors to make sure it stays in place
- (6) 10” Timberlock screws to hold the arbor and ring shank nails to make sure nothing moves
- GRK Deck screws on the fence rails so they outlast the natural material
- Rust Defender Hinges so they don’t discolor in the Colorado sun

We build so your structures will last. Why spend money on a contractor that is only doing the minimum? Your outdoor structures should last a long time and we aim to build it that way.
