Architectural sunshades are used on the exterior of buildings to help control the amount of sunlight entering a building while offering a unique aesthetic design. There are 4 main types of sunshades, each with their own distinctive look and solar benefits. Deciding which sunshade is best for your building depends on your exact needs, but here’s a general rule of thumb.

If your priority is:

Clean, modern architectural appearance -> airfoil sunshades
Maximum directional shading -> eggcrate sunshades
Unique architectural statement -> tubular sunshades
Contemporary, high-impact façade design -> z-blade sunshades
