These rooftop units or dry coolers are part of a glycol chiller system designed to keep a server room 5 floors below from overheating.

The system cools a glycol solution, then continuously circulates it through the welded piping network, which is connected to the central chiller or CRAC (computer room AC).

The closed network system maintains the glycol at the necessary low temperatures to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.

Emerson Welding handled the welded piping installation and fabrication that helps keep this system flowing reliably.

Everything you see here was fabricated by us at our shop in Littleton and installed on site—built strong, clean, and fully up to code.

Before installing the new bed, this customer wanted to make sure their truck was 100% ready for the season—and we made it happen.

We did a cab protector on this truck previously knowing this project was coming soon.

We installed a new hinge plate, repaired cracked welds on the pintle plate, and added new chain hooks for a tag trailer. After setting the bed, we ran into a clearance issue—but a few custom modifications later, everything fit perfectly.

Finished it off by reinstalling the Mack mudflaps, and this truck is back on the road looking sharp with its fresh new bed.

A little tech talk for your Tuesday…

All welds on this project successfully passed CWI inspection—because quality and safety always come first!

This line features a 3” Schedule 80 steam pipe, protected inside a larger Schedule 20 casing. Once the welds are completed and fully tested, we install protective sleeves (also known as “cans”) around the exposed sections.

From there, the casing is air-tested to ensure it is 100% sealed—keeping water out and preventing premature corrosion of the pipe inside.

It’s all about doing the job right the first time and making sure it lasts for years to come.

These couplers for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation came in with a design issue, the original build was too wide, which prevented the use of their existing attachments. 🚧

We narrowed the couplers to the proper width, added end caps to protect the original tubing, and finished everything off with fresh paint before delivery back to the shop! ✨
