🐝 Ever wondered what’s hiding inside a hornet’s nest?

Take a closer look! 👀 These tiny larvae are developing inside the nest’s honeycomb-like cells, where they’re cared for until they mature into adult hornets.

While it’s fascinating to see nature up close, an active hornet’s nest around your home is something you don’t want to disturb. Hornets can become aggressive when defending their colony.

🌿 Missing pieces from your plants? There might be a reason. 🐀

This customer noticed pieces of their plants going missing. A closer look inside their outdoor fireplace revealed the culprit — a white-throated woodrat, also known as a pack rat.

Pack rats can build nests in protected areas around a property, collect debris, and cause damage when they settle in too close to home.

Seeing signs of rodent activity? Whitmor is here to help address the problem and help protect your home.

At Whitmore Pest & Wildlife Control, protecting a home takes more than simply treating the problem—it takes the right knowledge and experience to provide a solution customers can trust. This month, we’re spotlighting Rob Chavez, Pest Technician, who takes pride in helping customers feel confident that their homes are protected.

For Rob, a successful job comes down to customer satisfaction and knowing the team has solved the pest problem. He believes knowledge and experience make all the difference, and homeowners feel the most relief when they know the work being done is helping protect their home and put their pest worries behind them.

Outside of work, Rob is excited for football season and cheering on the Broncos! 🏈 When it’s time to unwind, he enjoys working in his flower garden, spending time outdoors, and hitting the golf course. 🌻⛳

We’re proud to have Rob on the Whitmore team, bringing experience, care, and a commitment to helping customers feel comfortable in their homes. 💪

🐍 Seeing a snake around your property? The problem may start with what it’s looking for.

Rodents are a common food source for many snakes. When mice and other rodents find food, shelter, and hiding spots around a home, they can make the property more attractive to predators, too.

That’s another reason keeping rodent activity under control matters.

Fewer rodents = fewer reasons for snakes to stick around. 🐭➡️🐍

Whitmore is here to help keep rodent activity under control and your home protected.

A cleaner crawl space starts with clearing out what doesn’t belong. 🏠🧹

Crawl spaces can collect old insulation, debris, and other materials over time—especially after pest or wildlife activity. A thorough cleanup helps prepare the area for the next steps in restoring and protecting the space.

This crawl space cleanup is all about getting back to a cleaner, more manageable starting point and making sure the work is done right from the ground up.

Crawl space concerns? Let Whitmore help restore and protect what’s below your home. 🏠🛠️

🐝 That’s not something you want hanging over your yard.

This large bald-faced hornet nest was found in a customer’s tree—and when a nest reaches this size, there can be a lot of activity inside.

Bald-faced hornets can become highly defensive around their nest, especially when they feel it’s being disturbed. That’s why removal is best left to trained pest professionals with the proper equipment and treatment approach.

🌳 Spot a nest around your property? Give Whitmore Pest & Wildlife Control a call before getting too close.

🐜 Dinner is served… but there’s a catch.

These ants may look like they’re just grabbing a quick meal, but they’re actually feeding on insecticide bait designed to work beyond the ants you can see.

That’s one of the keys to effective ant control: targeting the colony, not just the activity happening on the surface.

Seeing a steady trail of ants around your home? Don’t let them turn it into their regular route.

Stop the trail before it becomes a bigger problem. Whitmore is here to help!
