One year later, we’re back in New Jersey at the incredible Gary Vee koi pond build!
Last year, Art of the Yard had the opportunity to be part of this massive project alongside Atlantic Water Gardens and some of the most talented pond and water feature contractors from across the country.
This wasn’t just about building a pond—it was about bringing together different builders, techniques, and decades of experience to create something truly unique.

Art of the Yard is headed to Koi Fest 2026!
We’re excited to spend the weekend surrounded by incredible koi, great people, and some of the best in the industry. But one of the things we’re looking forward to most is getting back to see the massive koi pond we helped build last year for Gary Vee.
This was an unforgettable project that brought together an incredible group of pond builders, designers, and industry professionals—and seeing how the pond has matured over the past year is going to be awesome.

A few minutes every morning can make a big difference in the health of your pond and koi.
A simple visual inspection should be part of every pond owner’s daily routine. Check your skimmers for debris, confirm the water level is where it should be, watch your water flow for any changes, and most importantly, observe your koi.
Changes in swimming behavior, appetite, breathing, or appearance can be early signs that something isn’t right. The same goes for changes in water level or flow—catching a small issue early can prevent it from becoming a much bigger problem.
Know what “normal” looks like for your pond. When you check it every day, you’ll recognize when something changes.
