865 Fox St | Before & After

This roof was inspected and found to have failing EPDM that had started to delaminate from the roof deck. Kudu removed multiple layers of roofing to properly rebuild the new roofing system and replaced the modified bitumen section over the garage with new EPDM.

Denver has a wide variety of roofing systems, and knowing how to properly work with each one is a big part of what Kudu provides. From EPDM and modified bitumen to tile, slate, metal, and more — our team specializes in the systems found throughout Colorado.

🏠 WHAT YOU DON'T SEE | Under the Shingles

A roof is more than just the shingles you see from the ground.

On this project, we partnered with Polyglass to install a full system of high-temperature, fire-resistant ice and water shield. This was an adjustment to the original installation plan to help ensure the roofing system met the new WUI (Wildland-Urban Interface) fire code requirements.

These details may be hidden once the job is finished, but they play a big part in how the entire roofing system performs.

The freeze/thaw cycle can be hard on roofing systems, especially when there are already small issues that haven’t been addressed.
