We’re proud to share with yall the ~almost~ finished exterior steps. Final inspection, gutter install, and final dump run coming early next week.
This project has been nothing short of interesting since we’ve began. We’ve worked closely with Hanover Borough Code Enforcement as well as the architects and engineers to pull this off right downtown.
This property is home to several families and the parking right-of-way allows approx 9 vehicles access in and out on a day-to-day basis. We did our absolute best to perform our duties in a manner that did not hinder those who need access to this area.
Halfway through the project, there was a fire at this property that started in the basement at the bottom of the interior stairs. Several tenants had to be rescued from the rooftop as the emergency fire escape was removed while the new & improved set was being constructed.
Working in downtown Hanover you come across many walks of life - some pleasant & some not so much. There were several occasions where others gave their opinion to us about what’s going on there. Some good, some nasty, but all unwarranted. Somebody tried to get into one of our work vans WHILE WE WERE THERE before we ran them off. Our guys were directed to keep their head down & allow our craftsmanship to speak for itself.
We’re proud to say we did just that. If you’ve ever built a set of steps, let alone 3 on top of one another, you know this is no small feat. Our guys KILLED it & I’m proud to put our name on something that came with true GRIT, TENACITY, & RESILIENCE.
