The change applies to new equipment being built and installed. It is not a deadline on the system already sitting beside your house, and it is not a reason to replace something that is running fine.

The question that comes up first on a bathroom is how long it will be out of use. 🔧

The honest answer depends less on the size of the room than on the order things have to happen in. Plumbing and wiring get inspected before the walls close. Waterproofing has to cure before any tile goes on. One special order fixture can hold up everything behind it.

The part that catches people out is the middle, where it looks like nothing is happening and something is quietly setting.

Remodels almost always turn into electrical or plumbing work at some point. 🔧
Moving a sink. Adding an island. Putting a bath where there wasn't one before. Open up a wall and there is usually something in there that has to move with it.
We handle that side of it ourselves, so the job keeps going instead of sitting while somebody else gets scheduled.

Concrete is a job where the prep matters more than the pour. Proper base, proper thickness, proper joints. Do it right and it sits there for decades. Rush it and you are looking at cracks in a couple of winters.

When was the last time anyone checked the unit on your roof? 🔧
Rooftop units are easy to forget about because nobody sees them. They just run, through every 100 degree day we get, until the building starts warming up and the phone starts ringing.
Two visits a year is usually all it takes to stay ahead of it. We install, service and repair rooftop units for offices, retail spaces and shops across Central Arkansas.
