What a fun few days in Fredericksburg, Texas! We had an incredible time with our Southern Living Builder 10 group, catching up with some of the best builders in the South, exchanging best practices, and touring the stunning 2026 Southern Living Idea House, beautifully built by our fellow Builder 10 member, Kurk Homes.

There’s nothing quite like getting together with talented builders who are passionate about craftsmanship, sharing ideas, and finding new ways to raise the bar for our clients back home.

A little Texas hospitality, a lot of great ideas, and one amazing home! We’re heading back to Arkansas inspired, energized, and grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an incredible group. ☀️

The Back Kitchen, Working Pantry, Prep Kitchen, Scullery...this space goes by many names, but it is one of our favorite rooms in the home, and few did it better than this couple. Access to the back porch and garden makes it the perfect space to prep for a dinner or a drink.

Quality craftsmanship is where vision becomes reality.

From the architect’s original renderings to the completed lakefront home, every angle reflects a shared commitment to thoughtful design and precise ex*****on. The distinctive rooflines, natural materials, expansive glass, and timber details were carefully brought to life by our team—preserving the architectural intent while delivering the quality expected of a truly custom home.

We don't get to create homes with as much flavor and texture as this beauty very often. The stone, beams, and depth of color in the cabinetry and furniture are not as prevalent in today's more modern homes. But we still can't help but love the character of some of our past builds.

Natural light and warm wood accents bring this kitchen to life. I love a room where you don’t have to turn on the lights on a sunny day—it just feels warm, inviting, and effortlessly beautiful.

A beautiful Low Country build on the north shore of Lake Maumelle, this project featured one of the most impressive backyards we’ve ever had the honor of building. But we can’t forget the incredible home itself, along with all of the fun and unique features that make this property truly special.
