For decades, Lexicon Steel has helped shape some of the most iconic buildings in America. When envisioning their new home, they wanted visitors to immediately understand what they do and who they are. As CEO Patrick Schueck shared, the goal was for people to walk through the door and know “we can build your job.”

Working alongside interior designer Jill White Designs, our team transformed the existing zig-zag concrete office structure by infilling it with steel and glass and lifting the lobby roof to bring natural light deep into the building. Inspired by the surrounding Arkansas Delta landscape and scattered pecan groves, a new “Grove” of steel trees with finger-like branches supports a patterned translucent canopy, creating an instantly recognizable symbol for the company.

We are grateful to have partnered with Lexicon, Nabholz Corporation and Jill White on a project that honors the people, legacy, and spirit of a company that helps build America every day.

Friday June 12th was an exciting day in Searcy with the topping out ceremony for our Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects designed Community Center, which is part of a larger city amenities project that includes an aquatics park, new soccer and baseball fields, and extensions of Searcy's bike trails. In fact, the bike trail ramps up and through the lobby of the building!

We are thrilled with the progress for such a meaningful project for our friends at the City of Searcy, and our engineering design partners with Crafton Tull and CDI Contractors / Hart Construction.

Our interior designers went to Chicago for NeoCon. Based on the photos, we’re about 90% sure they attended NeoCon and 100% sure they had a great time.

All jokes aside, NeoCon is the premier event for commercial interiors and design innovation. Our team spent the week exploring new products, emerging trends, and fresh ideas that will inspire future projects.

They returned energized, creative, and ready to put what they learned into practice. We love investing in experiences that keep our team inspired and our designs evolving.

We’re honored to be collaborating with BIG on this transformative new STEM university in Bentonville. Together, the design team is creating a campus that supports every aspect of student life—from learning and collaboration to making and discovery—while strengthening connections to downtown Bentonville and reflecting the character of the Ozark region through thoughtful architecture and materials. This project represents an exciting vision for the future of higher education in Arkansas and beyond.
