June in Arkansas just feels different.

The days stretch a little longer, the trails get busier, patios start filling up, and there’s something beautiful happening almost everywhere you look — from downtown corners to garden paths, lakes, parks, and quiet neighborhood streets.

Dracaena (druh-SEE-nuh) is a plant family we love designing with, and Janet Lind is one we come back to again and again. Its upright form, glossy leaves, and full, layered shape make it a beautiful way to bring height, softness, and structure into a space. Whether it’s anchoring a corner, adding presence near seating, or helping fill out an interior with a little more life, it has a way of making a room feel more polished and complete. University of Arkansas at Little Rock has trusted us with setups like this year after year, and short-term plant rentals are an easy way to add polish and presence without adding more to your team’s plate. Meet Bo, Exterior Lead of our Central Arkansas team! Bo has been with Leafscape since February 2025, bringing thoughtful care and creativity to the spaces we serve.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Leafscape, Bo said, “I love bringing verdant, thriving plants and life into everyday spaces. It makes my day when folks respond positively to the displays and plantings we install. The essence of biophilic design!”
