Due to weather-related postponements, the ribbon cutting ceremony for Saline County’s first completed segment of the Southwest Trail has been rescheduled for:

✂️ Wednesday, June 17, 2026
🕘 9:00 a.m.
📍 Near Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church
12214 Germania Rd., Alexander

Join us as we celebrate the completion of Segment S8A, Saline County’s first finished section of the Southwest Trail. This 2.5-mile segment connects directly to Pulaski County’s existing trail system and marks a major milestone in the development of the regional 65-mile trail connecting Little Rock and Hot Springs.

Parking will be available at the church, and shuttle transportation will be provided to the ceremony site.

We look forward to celebrating with you on June 17!

We’re honored to have Chris and Bradley Meyer featured in Arkansas Money & Politics 2026 Dynamic Duos edition!⭐️💪🏼

Their story is one of hard work, perseverance, and carrying forward the legacy started by their grandfather, James A. Rogers Sr. From their beginnings in the field to leadership roles today, Chris and Bradley have helped grow James A. Rogers Excavating while staying true to the values that built this company from the very beginning.

As President & CEO, Chris has led the company through significant growth and expansion across Arkansas, while Bradley’s journey from laborer to Senior Estimator reflects the opportunities, dedication, and commitment that continue to define our team. Together, they have helped expand the James A. Rogers family of companies, including McHenry Companies and NOEC Construction, LLC, while remaining focused on serving our communities and investing in the people around them.

⚠️ Due to forecasted inclement weather, the ribbon cutting ceremony for Saline County’s first completed segment of the Southwest Trail originally scheduled for Friday, May 29 has been postponed.

A new date and time for the event are currently being determined and will be announced at a later date.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to celebrating this exciting milestone for Saline County and the Southwest Trail very soon.
