Want to know how to how to keep your annuals blooming all season long? Feed them! 🌸

Fertilizing your plants really matters - but with so many fertilizers on the market - we understand how it can get a little overwhelming and confusing.

We’ll keep it simple:
At planting we recommend using Ferti-Lome Premium Bedding Plant Food (7-22-8) or Osmocote for blooming annuals.

Our Good Earth Jump Start is a great option for helping plants establish stronger roots as well. Stronger roots = more nutrient absorption!

Throughout the growing season, BR-61 (9-58-8) is our go to recommendation to encourage outstanding blooming all season.

Wondering what’s up with all those numbers? The three number stand for Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (in that order).

The butterfly bush (also called Buddleia) is a fast-growing flowering shrub loved for its nectar rich blooms, sweet fragrant smell, and long flowering season!

Did you know that all of the varieties we carry have sterile (less than 2% germination) flowers? That means you can enjoy all of the beauty + benefits of the butterfly bush without fear of it naturalizing/becoming invasive!

If you are creating a butterfly garden, be sure to include host plants such as butterfly w**d (milkw**d) as well as nectar rich plants. This will give butterflies a good habitat for their complete life cycle!

The wait is over - Hardy Hibiscus is finally here! 🌺🎉

We planted these in mid-April as bare-root plants, and now they’re finally ready! They are one of the last perennials to get started in the spring, but that doesn’t slow them down. They’ll start blooming in the summer and produce BIG, dinner-plate-sized flowers (as pictured in this reel).

These Hardy Hibiscus love water and can form bushes that grow about 4–5 feet tall and wide! Plus, they’re part of the Rose Mallow family, which makes them native to Arkansas.

If you’ve been waiting for these beauties, now is the time to come get them! We have a limited quantity available, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. See ya soon!
