Shovels are in the ground.

McClam & Associates was proud to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Columbia Avenue Corridor Improvement Project, where we will serve as the Prime Contractor.

This transformative project represents a major investment in Chapin’s future, bringing improvements to traffic flow, roadway safety, pedestrian accessibility, and overall connectivity throughout the downtown corridor. Planned enhancements include roadway widening, intersection improvements, new sidewalks, drainage upgrades, and other critical infrastructure improvements designed to support the community’s continued growth and economic development.

As a company headquartered in neighboring Little Mountain, this project is especially meaningful to us. Many of our employees call Chapin home and travel these roads every day. We are proud to help build infrastructure that strengthens the community and supports the people who live, work, and spend time in Chapin.

We are honored to partner with SCDOT, the Town of Chapin, and project stakeholders as construction begins on this important project. We look forward to delivering a project that enhances mobility throughout the corridor and helps position Chapin for continued success in the years ahead.
