Construction is officially underway on the Somerset Pool Pavilion. After months of planning, design coordination, and preconstruction work, it’s exciting to see this project finally coming out of the ground. Looking forward to bringing this vision to life and sharing the progress along the way.

Floor systems are the backbone of a home’s long-term quality, yet they’re often overlooked. We refuse to build to “minimum standards.” That’s why we exclusively use Open Web Wood Floor Trusses in our custom homes over traditional BCI or I-joists.
Here is why this matters for your build:
• Structural Integrity: Open webs allow HVAC, plumbing, and electrical lines to run through the truss. No cutting or drilling into structural members means cleaner installs and a stronger frame.
• A Stiffer Foundation: Nobody likes a bouncy floor. These trusses provide a more solid feel with significantly less vibration—essential for today’s large, open-concept designs.
• Future-Proofing: If you ever need to reroute mechanical systems years down the road, the open design makes repairs and renovations simple and safe.
We don’t just build for today; we build for long-term performance.

Bringing this custom home in Little Flock one step closer to the finish line.

Exterior brick and siding are wrapping up, and you can really start to see the vision come together. Next up, we’ll start our exterior painting of the brick, while our team continues pushing forward on interior finishes. #

Clean slab, walls going up, and we’re almost through framing on our downtown Rogers custom home. Progress is looking good. Stay tuned.

The details nobody sees are the ones that matter most.
This is thru-wall flashing and weep vents at the masonry veneer on one of our current custom home builds. Water will always find a way in. Our job is to make sure it has a way back out.
Properly installed flashing and weep vents protect your wall assembly from trapped moisture, rot, and long term structural damage. It takes more time and effort to do it right, and what sets us apart.
Grateful for trade partners willing to learn and who take the same pride in the details that we do. That’s how you build homes that last for generations.

A clean job site says a lot about how a project is being managed.

We make it a priority to keep our sites organized and picked up throughout construction. It keeps things safer for everyone working on the project, helps trades stay efficient, and shows respect for the homeowner and their property.

The small details during construction matter just as much as the finished product. A well run job site usually leads to a better finished home.

A few photos from our Little Flock job site today.

Real craftsmanship starts underground.
Foundation walls, carefully compacted backfill, plumbing rough in, slab prep coming together. This Downtown Rogers custom is taking shape the right way.

Two different trade partners, my lumber supplier and a seasoned insulation subcontractor, were on site this week for pre install walks. Both independently said almost the same thing.

“You build a really quality house.”

Coming from guys who walk hundreds of jobsites every year, that’s quite the compliment.

I’ve always believed that a clean site, fixing issues immediately, and clear communication lead to a better forever home. That mindset was drilled into me during my nearly 20 year career working in commercial construction, and it’s exactly how I build for my residential clients today.

Quality is not an upgrade. It’s the baseline

Downtown Rogers custom home underway.
Site cleared, soft clear complete, layout set, footings poured.
Pushed hard this week to get concrete in the ground before the snowstorm hit. Mission accomplished. ❄️✔️. Always working hard to protect the schedule.

Props to our HVAC crew on the Little Flock Custom!
All hard ductwork—clean, organized, and well laid out. Installed with pride and not rushed or patched together.
Rigid duct delivers better airflow, better efficiency, and far fewer issues down the road.
This is the standard we expect on a custom home.

Spent most of last week at JobTread Connect 2026. Learned a lot from industry leaders, connected with builders from across the country (and some from right here in NWA), and picked up systems and strategies to run a tighter, more profitable contracting business. Looking forward to putting it all into practice and continuing to raise the bar.
