Did you know that we do Commercial as well as residential roofing?
AND that we do it nationwide?

Well, now you do.

This particular project was a unique one because it’s a commercial grade roof on a residential property (more on this specifics project later). But the truth is that we were one of the only residential roofing companies in the area equipped to handle it.

If you own a commercial property anywhere in the country or local to DFW, reach out. We cover ALL types of roofs, and we do them all with the same integrity, expertise, and professionalism that we’re known for.

🚨🚨Warning: This is NOT what you want to see on your roof!!🚨🚨

This is improperly installed chimney flashing that led to a major leak & mold. Looks nasty, right?

Yet, still, insurance initially denied the claim. Then they wanted us to settle for a ridiculously under-priced estimate. We fought for the customer and got everything that should have been paid for.

So when stuff like this comes up, we already made sure it’s covered. That’s why it’s so important to work off the estimate and have a contractor who can help you understand the process & your policy!

Need help with an insurance claim or just want to get your roof checked out to make sure you don't have a disaster-in-the-making? Give me a call! I'm the guy who can help you navigate complicated claims and get the job done right!

See this pipe jack here? See how it's dented and cracked at the top?
That's Hail Damage.
And what you'd think is that this pipe jack is on a roof that needs to be replaced, and that when it is replaced, they'll replace this piece too.
Except if you thought that, you'd be wrong.
Because this pipe jack is, in fact, on a roof that was replaced and marked as complete last weekend. I watched as the roofer replaced the roof and gutters, and then walked away from this job with pipe jacks covered in hail damage that I could spy from ground level.
The problem with this, of course, is that it's so damaged it will eventually crack and break.
I don't know the roofer who did this, and even if I did, I would never share their identity. All I will say is that this is exactly why I preach you have to choose a trustworthy roofer. This type of corner-cutting will cost this homeowner money down the line, and it's entirely preventable if you go with a long-standing, well-reputed roofer. Check references. Check Google Ratings. Check it all.
It matters more than you ever know.

And if you want a roofer you can trust, save this post for when you need me or give me a call now--inspections are always free. 469.213.0249

Killing two birds with one stone,
But the “non-homocidal” version where I’m doing two roofs, right next to each other.

Listen, I’m all for sharing on social media and building my reputation here as an honest and reliable roofer—the best in the business—but no viral reel hits quite the same as REFERRALS.
Becuase we all know that people are more likely to complain about the bad service than share the food—so in order to get this level of referral business (the entire street & neighborhood to be exact) I’ve got to be more than GOOD.

I’ve got to be GREAT!!!

So this is my post saying THANK YOU. To this entire neighborhood. To all of my clients. And to YOU. I love what I do and I am grateful I get to do it for you.

It’s important to hire the right people.
Becuase the right people KNOW the right people to get the job done.
Not only do adjusters and ladder assistants know I file legitimate claims, they know me so well that the roofs my customers file are rarely ever denied.
This is because the adjusters know that I file actual damage so there is never an issue.
Thats why it’s so important to make sure I’m at the adjustment. My relationships and impeccable reputation with the adjusters and their teams speaks for itself. They know I’m filing a legitimate claim and they will pay it correctly.
Bottom line.
Relationships matter.

Resharing this oldie but goodie just in time for the temps to take their turn for the worse for the summer!
🥵🥵🥵🥵
It goes without saying that during the hottest months of the year, if you see a crew of any kind taking a break in the shade, or even multiple breaks, they're not being lazy. They're being safe.
So be kind and considerate and have some understanding. It's brutal to work outside right now, and breaks and hydration are necessary.

I am a diehard believer in roofers actually getting ON THE ROOF during your inspection.
(novel concept, I know 😉)
But, if you need a visual to explain why, this is it.

This hail damage would have been missed by a drone. I had to be on the roof to spot them.

And guess what? Had I not done that, this homeowner would not have been covered for this damage.
It matters. Trust me.

Need help with your roof? I'm just a DM or phone call away, and I'm here 24/7 for all of your roofing needs. 469.213.0249.

Texas weather is such a roller coaster. We can have record rainfall, hurricane-force winds, and what feels like non-stop storms and flooding all in the same week. Top that off with the fact that there is no true "hail season," because our weather can be crazy ANY time of year, and you have some confusing weather and confused homeowners.
🌩️⛈️🌩️⛈️
But all of that confusion aside, as a homeowner, you really only need to know that not all storms are going to damage your roof. In fact, a lot of the storms we’ve had this year, while awful, haven’t been damage-producing.

Here are three factors that influence a storm’s damage potential.

1-SIZE. Nickel and dime-sized hail aren’t going to do it. A good rule of thumb to follow is if you have hail baseball size or larger, you're likely to have damage to your house and structures.
2–DURATION. If a storm with ping pong ball-sized hail lasts 10 minutes or longer, you’re likely to have damage. The longer the storm, the more your likelihood increases.
3-WIND. While not technically hail-related, if you experienced hurricane-force winds without hail, there's a chance you have damage as well.

Sound complicated?

That’s why inspections are free. If you suspect you’ve had large enough hail, long enough hail, or high winds, call me. I’ll come out and confirm if you’ve got damage or not.

And don’t worry. I’m honest about the damage and will tell you if you don’t need to file a claim (peek my profile for tons of reels of this in action).
