I have told our story in bits and pieces over the years. On Trauma Uncensored Podcast we get real about what happened, how I fought for the truth, how we have navigated life since Leon’s death.

An abbreviated version was released today if you haven’t heard it before.

I will share this story forever. I will say his name every day until I can no longer speak. Not for me- but for him and our children and to bring hope to just one person.

This last week a wife lost her husband, her soul mate and four children lost their dad. Brian Castillo died on Father’s Day morning. Ashley is now facing the unimaginable.

Operation Lotus is raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, support the children’s activities, and most importantly, give their mom the ability to take some time off work so she can focus on her family during this difficult time.

Today this miracle turned 13! His story is worth sharing because it’s a true testimony of faith, divine intervention and hope.

He wasn’t in Leon’s and I plan. 1 month before Leon died, we decided 2 children was our story- BUT God had other plans. September 22nd Leon died, September 29th I discovered I was pregnant. I was angry. VERY angry. But God had a plan. God knew in my darkest time I needed purpose, a reason to push harder than I knew I could, take care of myself, He knew I needed hope.

Sometimes there is beauty in the devastation. Noah’s story is a reminder to us all- there is a a plan and purpose much deeper than we could ever imagine. Faith- it’s what gets us through when nothing else can.

Noah- “comfort”. Noah- the one who saved me from my storm. Happy 13th to the littlest Brock but who’s bigger than life.
