As I get ready to head into the last round of fertilizing and tick applications for the year, I wanted to put out a quick reminder about ticks.
Don’t let the cooler weather fool you. Ticks typically make another big surge from late September through November. The first few frosts don’t usually phase them, as they are still actively searching for a host while transitioning from nymphs to adults. Keeping your property protected during this time is still important.
With that being said, I’m already mapping out next season and have been getting a ton of requests and questions about next year.
If you’ve been having your lawn professionally treated but are still dealing with crabgrass and broadleaf weeds season after season—or you just can’t seem to get clear answers to your questions—it might be worth exploring some new options.
To make sure I can continue providing the highest quality care to everyone on my route, I keep a strict limit on how many new properties I take on. After October, I’ll start getting new clients set up for next season, and I’ll be accepting new sign-ups through March 15th, unless I reach capacity before then.
