As most of you know, a while back I lost my mom. ❤️

One of the sweet memories I have from that time involves her dear neighbor, who used to make her the most amazing lace cookies.

And when I tell you these cookies were special...they were SPECIAL.

They were made with lots of love, which I’m convinced was the secret ingredient. My mom absolutely treasured them. They weren’t something she made herself...they were a gift given to her by someone she cared about. And if Mom shared one of those cookies with you, you better know you were somebody special. 😂❤️

A few weeks ago, I commented on a post after learning that Mom’s sweet neighbor had passed away. Her sister-in-law, Cat, reached out to me afterward, and from that connection, a beautiful new friendship has started to grow.

Then Cat asked me a question I’m always happy to answer...

“Do y’all build carports?”

Why yes...Tri-State Portable Buildings most certainly does! 😊

We started talking, worked through what she needed, and found the perfect carport for her cute little Subaru.

Today, Cat came by to make her down payment and officially get her project underway.

But she didn’t come empty-handed.
