Just a caring-for-plant reminder‼️

*with the assumption you have gritty soil*

🔊 If your succulents are INSIDE, they need to be in a sunny (preferably south-facing) window.

🪟 They need airflow (ceiling/box fan, window, ac running, etc) 🌬

💦 They DO NOT need much water! Maybe once-twice a month, at most, seriously. Let soil dry completely between watering!!! Succulents are desert plants, like cactus. They retain water! They're fine, HAPPY, even!

✨️ IF YOUR POT *doesn't* HAVE DRAIN HOLES:
Water enough to soak the soil evenly, but if you were to tip the pot almost upside-down (while holding the plants with your other hand) and water pours/drips out, that's too much water. Learn the amount necessary and there's no need to test this a ton of times.

🔊 If your succulents are OUTSIDE:
🌞 Most thrive best in direct sunlight, but partial sun is okay too! They love the sun and turn pretty colors here!

💦 Succulents in the sun all day can likely be watered weekly or bi-weekly. No more!
In the shade probably bi/tri-weekly, but check the soil and learn your plant! Dry-dry soil is ready for water.

I've got so much planting to do its ridiculous. But in ADDITION to the 30 varieties (down from 40 bc sales have been great!) I have ready to sell, I have 40-50 more DIFFERENT varieties coming.

The ability of an organism to change its characteristics in response to environmental variations is known as pheno-typic plasticity and is the key driving factor in the evolution of a species. eg; If a Holly finds its leaves are being eaten by herbivores it switches genes on to make them spiky when they regrow. So on taller Holly trees the upper leaves which are out of reach have smooth edges, while the lower leaves which where previously eaten and have regrown are prickly.
