We are honored to have been selected to receive the 2011 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award for Rehabilitation from Landmarks Illinois.

One of the 2011 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award winners is the Scully Building in Lincoln, Ill., which was rehabilitated following a devastating fire in 2001. The 1907 Romanesque Revival-style building anchors a major corner just one block from the Logan County Courthouse Square.

Tomorrow is the Harvest of Talents Holiday Tour of Homes. If you haven't been through the building and would like to see it, come by anytime between 1:00 and 4:30 for a tour. Tickets are $7 donation and there are 3 other homes open for viewing. Merry Christmas!

Today was the first official day of business for Integrity Data in the Scull Building! The company moved across the street late last week. There are still some details being finished up with trim and kitchen appliances but most of the construction is finished. Photos to be posted soon...

So much has changed in the last 10 days! The generator was installed. The exterior stairs were removed and work began on installing their replacement. The main floor furniture was installed. The base trim is going on. The lights in the open office area were installed. The new main entry was installed. Things are coming together quickly now. We are just a few weeks from moving in!

Tony Rogers of Lincoln is fabricating a new exterior stair and railing and Gordon Lessen of Lessen’s Repair in Lincoln is painting it. Dan Bree of Lincoln and his crew worked hard in the extreme heat to pour the concrete for our parking area behind the building. Our new interior doors arrived and everyone is working hard to get ready for carpet next week!

This week the main floor bathroom floors were tiled, we fired up the AC (HOORAY!), the server room got a fresh coat of paint, more glass went in, more trim went on and more ceiling went up.

This week more glass was installed, the stucco continues to progress, the arched windows got their trim, the toilets were set upstairs, and the acoustic ceiling "clouds" started going in and we now have real stairs!
