Sometimes you can’t beat that classic cedar look.

While this may look like a basic cedar fence, it’s actually a lot more than that. This an arch top fence with PostMaster + metal posts that come with a limited lifetime warranty. Then obviously beautiful cedar installed on them. Cedar is not only rot and insect resistant. It looks beautiful.

Now we move onto the gates… a strong gate starts with strong gate posts. We installed 4x4” black aluminum posts and installed our beautiful cedar gate on them. All of our cedar gates are installed with 2x2” black aluminum gate frames. We choose aluminum because it is light weight and can withstand the elements.

We then source only the best hardware. All of our gate hardware is stainless steel. Our hinges are heavy duty, self closing, adjustable hinges. Adjustability is great for long term settling. After years and years of the ground near the gate settling the hinges allow for any small adjustments!

This fence is all done and ready for stain!

This year, North State Fence had the privilege of installing fences for two Carolina Hurricanes players. Coincidence that they're headed to the Stanley Cup Championship? We’ll let you decide. 😉
Maybe it’s the extra privacy. Maybe it’s the added security. Maybe it’s just good luck that comes with a North State Fence installation.
Either way, we're proud to have worked with some of the best athletes in North Carolina and we'll be cheering the Canes on as they chase the Cup!

Not every project is about installing a fence. Some are about complementing a home that has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail.

We recently completed this custom installation in Raleigh featuring industrial-grade aluminum fencing paired with handcrafted cedar gates built on welded aluminum frames powder coated black. Every measurement, transition, and finish was designed to match the quality and character of this incredible property.

Another 5’ tall aluminum fence knocked out in one day. These homeowners were moving in and closing today, so you already know we had to get it done for them!

Perfect even grade, full sections for symmetry, and a perfect graded gate to match the slope of the yard for aesthetics and function. Knocked this one out, onto the next! ➡️

Another customer ready to go for the summer. Now is a great time to stain your fence if you want it protected from the harsh UV rays in NC.

This was a 5’ tall cap and trim fence we installed a few months back. Stained with Pulte Gold just in time for summer.

Don’t forget about that beautiful aluminum frame for the gate! 👀

Just knocked out this tear out and reinstall in Cary, NC. This is a 6’ tall dog ear wood fence. We installed this fence with Master Halco’s postmaster+ post. These posts are one of the only posts for wood fencing that comes with a warranty.

Not only are they resistant to rotting and warping, they are wind resistant up to 80 mph winds. We also paired the fence with a custom built aluminum frame gate. The aluminum gate will prevent sagging and twisting in the future.

We will be back in a few months to stain this fence, to stay tuned for that!

Here at North State Fence Builders I usually try to post videos and photos of our most recent projects but there is another project that deserves some attention.
I am very proud of my parents who both own North State Fence and my mom who was just elected President of the North American Fence Contractors Association.

They recently came back from a service project where they volunteered through NAFCA and the Autism caring center to build a 5’ tall chain link fence for a family with a child with autism.
They worked with other amazing fence contractors donating time and materials to make something special come to life.
I feel privileged to follow in their footsteps as this is the example they lead with.

This is the letter my mom received from the homeowner when the project was complete…
