This month, Bleck & Bleck Architects proudly celebrates 70 years of design, innovation, and community impact.
Founded in 1956 by Tom Bleck at just 26 years old, the firm began with a bold vision and a hands-on approach – Tom even designed and built the firm’s very first office himself. That spirit of initiative, craftsmanship, and personal commitment continues to define who we are today.
From those early days in Lake County to projects across the country, our work has grown alongside the communities we serve. We’ve partnered with a wide range of clients – from municipalities and public institutions to financial organizations, restaurants, manufacturers, developers, and theme parks – bringing thoughtful, lasting design solutions to every project.
While tools and technologies have evolved, our core philosophy remains unchanged: architecture is a public art form. Every space we design is meant to serve people, strengthen communities, and stand the test of time.
We’re proud of the legacy built by Tom and the generations that followed – and grateful to the clients, partners, and communities who have trusted us over the past seven decades.
