Today isn’t really about an extra day off.

It’s about the empty seats at family tables.

Not every Barts team outing involves a lake, an offshore fishing boat, or getting deep into the woods.

Sometimes it looks like a cool spring evening, a ballgame, and a few hours spent together outside the office.

Our KC Accounting team recently traded spreadsheets for scorecards and headed out to enjoy a Royals game together.

We’ve always believed that strong teams aren’t built only in meetings and deadlines. Sometimes they’re built in conversations between innings, shared laughs, and getting to know each other as people instead of job titles.

Barts Electric keeps growing, and we’re looking for good people to grow with us.

We currently have multiple openings within our Safety Division, including administrative and coordinator roles in both our Kansas City and Florida offices, along with a traveling coordinator position supporting projects across the country.

These roles are an important part of keeping our jobsites running the right way by supporting our field teams, reinforcing protocols, and helping ensure every employee goes home safely at the end of the day.

At Barts Electric, we talk a lot about building people.

Sometimes that happens on a jobsite. Sometimes it happens in a classroom. And sometimes it happens miles offshore with a fishing rod in your hand.

One of the things we love most about this annual Florida division trip is seeing people from every corner of the company spending time together — apprentices, office staff, field leaders, project managers, and longtime veterans of the trade all sharing stories, laughs, and having some well-earned fun out on the water.

Just good people enjoying a good day together. We’re grateful for a culture where moments like this still matter.

We break down why commercial buildings use three-phase power instead of single-phase like residential. With higher voltage and more efficient distribution, it keeps everything running smoother on a larger scale.
