We made a very scientific chart of what your cabinets say about you.
By âscientific,â we mean weâve looked inside a lot of cabinets and have developed some opinions. đ
First up: the pots-and-pans cabinet.
You know the pan is in there. You can see approximately 12% of its handle. Unfortunately, getting it out requires removing three pots, catching a falling lid, and making a noise that alerts everyone in the house that dinner has begun.
You donât choose which pan to cook with. You choose which pan youâre emotionally prepared to retrieve.
Then thereâs the Lazy Susan.
Spin. Pray. Repeat.
Was that the paprika? Possibly. Will it come around again? Eventually. Has something fallen off the back and stopped the entire operation? Almost certainly.
And of course, the âstuffâ drawer.
Scissors. Batteries of unknown life expectancy. Seven bobby pins. Pliers. A key nobody recognizes but nobody dares throw away.
Everything you need. Eventually.
Youâll find the tape right after buying more tape. Itâs the drawerâs only rule.
Then thereâs the Glide-Around, quietly rotating AND pulling out like it has somewhere to be and a calendar invite for getting there.
Has its life together. Frankly, a little rude to the rest of us.
The funny part? You can have a beautiful kitchen and still have a cabinet that makes you negotiate with a stockpot every night.
Thatâs where we come in. At ShelfGenie of Lexington, we work inside your existing cabinets to make the things you use easier to see, reach, and put away.
Because making dinner already involves enough decisions. âWhich lid is about to hit my foot?â shouldnât be one of them.
Be honest: which one lives in your kitchen? đ
And if your cabinet deserves its own spot on this chart, DM us a photo. Weâd love to help give it a happier ending.
