Meet Our Leadership Team
As Great Scapes continues to grow, we’re proud of the team that helps make it possible.
For more than 20 years, we’ve had the opportunity to serve our community, and we’re thankful for the customers who have trusted us with their properties and supported us along the way.
As we continue to grow, our goal remains the same: to serve our community, take care of our customers, and provide quality lawn and landscape services we can be proud of.
We’d like to introduce you to the people helping lead Great Scapes forward.

William Hardin — Owner
William founded Great Scapes in 2003 with a vision of building a company that would last. Through hard work, strong relationships, and a commitment to quality, Great Scapes has continued to grow over the years.
Outside of work, William enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.

Gerardo Velasco — Owner
Gerardo joined Great Scapes ownership in 2022, bringing years of experience in the landscaping industry. His passion for the industry began at a young age while working alongside his father.
Gerardo takes pride in building relationships with customers and helping provide quality service to every property we care for.

Hector Lopez — Commercial Account Manager
Hector brings a background in accounting, business operations, and customer service to Great Scapes. His customer-first approach helps us maintain strong relationships and dependable service for our clients.
Outside of work, Hector enjoys playing soccer, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

Chuck Maynard — Commercial Account Manager
Chuck brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, customer service, operations, and leadership. His experience and dedication help support our customers and our team.
Outside of work, Chuck enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and camping with his wife and two sons.

We’re thankful for our customers and grateful to be part of the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing to grow and serving you for many years to come.

Our team recently took over landscape maintenance at this commercial property.
We focused on pruned shrubs, removed overgrowth and honeysuckle, refreshed the mulch beds, and improved the overall appearance of the property.

What a great day at the Lexington Truck Pull!
A huge thank you to our amazing customers and clients for supporting the Great Scapes team and helping make this event a success.
We’re proud to have won Best Team T-Shirt! Special thanks to Wink Creative Solutions for designing and producing our shirts.
Most importantly, the event raised over $60,000 to support Special Olympics Kentucky athletes.
Thank you to Special Olympics Kentucky for hosting an incredible event and to everyone who helped make a difference!

Pulling for a Purpose

Great Scapes Landscape Management is proud to support Special Olympics Kentucky through the Lexington Truck Pull. Our team is raising funds to support more than 7,000 athletes by providing year-round sports, competition, and opportunities for inclusion.
We’ll be pulling an 80,000-pound semi-truck while working toward our $1,500 fundraising goal. Every donation helps make a lasting impact.
