⚠️ SEPTIC SCAM WARNING — PLEASE READ
We want to make our customers aware of a scam we are seeing involving septic pumping.
In some cases, scammers are contacting homeowners claiming to be a septic company and collecting payment from the customer upfront. They then turn around and schedule the actual pumping with a legitimate local septic company.
The legitimate septic company shows up, performs the work, and later discovers that the payment the homeowner made went to someone else. The homeowner may think they have already paid, while the septic company is left trying to collect payment for the work.
We recently received an unsolicited message from someone claiming to represent a septic company that we were unable to independently verify.
Please protect yourself:
• Verify the company before sending payment.
• Look for a legitimate website, business address, and established local presence.
• Call the septic company directly using a number you independently find.
• Be cautious of unsolicited texts offering unusually low prices or asking for payment before service.
• Make sure you know exactly who will be performing the work and who your payment is going to.
