🚨 We’re Hiring: Senior Fire Alarm Systems Specialist 🚨

Silent Guard is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Systems Specialist to join our growing team in Lexington and Somerset, Kentucky.

This leadership-level position is responsible for the design, installation, inspection, service, and management of commercial fire alarm and life safety systems throughout the Commonwealth.

Responsibilities include:

• System design and estimating
• Installation, programming, and commissioning
• Project management
• Inspection, testing, and maintenance
• Service and troubleshooting
• Fire extinguisher inspections and compliance services
• Customer training and support

Qualifications:

✅ NICET Level III (or higher) in Fire Alarm Systems

✅ Experience designing, installing, inspecting, servicing, and managing commercial fire alarm projects

✅ Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and applicable life safety codes

✅ Possess or be able to obtain all certifications and credentials required by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to inspect, test, maintain, and service fire alarm systems and portable fire extinguishers

✅ Strong communication, customer service, and project management skills

Here we grow again…

Jason Petercheff has joined Silent Guard as our Commercial Business Manager. He will focus on assisting businesses throughout Central Kentucky in identifying security risks and implementing solutions such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, and more.

Frankie Castellano has come on board as a Security Consultant. He will help homeowners and small-to-medium-sized businesses design, install, and support security, camera, automation, and smart technology solutions tailored to their specific needs.

As we continue to push forward, investing in exceptional talent remains one of our top priorities. We are excited to have Jason and Frankie with us and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our customers and communities.

Our team is back home after a great week in Texas at the ESX - Electronic Security Expo with ESA - Electronic Security Association

It’s always valuable to connect with industry friends, learn about new technology, and bring back fresh ideas to better serve our customers.

One of the highlights of the week was watching Ben Purcell present on a national stage about how Silent Guard operates and grows. It was a proud moment to see our team and the work they do recognized among industry leaders.

A big thank you to Somerset Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and Bobby Clue for bringing this year's Leadership Lake Cumberland group to visit us.

One of our own Faith Vinson is part of this years group. Faith is an incredible leader within our company, and we are so proud of her!

We always appreciate the opportunity to share the exciting work our team is doing for customers across the Commonwealth and to highlight the growth and innovation happening within our company.

And, of course, getting to see a few impressive swings on the golf simulator made the visit even more enjoyable!

The SPEDA fiber hut in the Oak Valley Industrial Park is one of the most important pieces of infrastructure in our community, helping provide the connectivity that businesses, organizations, and residents rely on every day.

Silent Guard provides the security systems protecting the facility, including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and monitoring to help keep this critical infrastructure secure and operational.
