The future of the electrical trade doesn't build itself.

Last week, we welcomed a strong crowd to our QuickStart Open House at our Lexington headquarters. Individuals from all backgrounds came to learn about the trade, meet our team, and explore what a career in electrical construction can look like.

Seeing that level of interest is a reminder that the future is bright when people are willing to show up and take the first step.

At Amteck, we're committed to developing the next generation of electricians and creating opportunities for people to build meaningful careers.

This is what investing in the future of our industry looks like.

Meet Andres Arzola, Superintendent supporting one of our manufacturing projects.

Andres brings 25 years of industry experience and leads with high standards, a commitment to quality work, and a belief that strong teams are built by treating people the right way. Creating positive morale on the jobsite is just as important to him as delivering a successful project.

When it comes to priorities, safety is always at the top of the list.

What attracted Andres to Amteck was the company's family-oriented culture and the pride people take in their work every day. He's looking forward to being part of a team that values both the work being built and the people building it.

Welcome to the team, Andres!

You’re never too young to start learning how things work.

Last week, Michael Vinson and Rachel Taylor from our Dyersburg office spent the morning at Hillcrest Elementary’s Careers on Wheels event, introducing students to the world of electricity and what we do at Amteck.

The kids came ready with questions, plenty of curiosity, and a lot of energy. Opportunities like this give us a chance to show the next generation that a career in the trades can be both hands-on and rewarding.

Thank you to Ms. Becky Orr and the Hillcrest team for putting together a great event and inviting us to be part of it.

Good food. Good conversation. Great people.

Our Safety Team hosted a cookout in Greenville and brought together employees from projects across South Carolina to celebrate the people who make our jobsites safer every day.

We appreciate the men and women in the field who look out for one another and take pride in doing the job the right way.

The future of the trades starts with conversations like these.

Last week, Michael Vinson and Kaitlyn Shands represented Amteck at the Ripley Middle School Career Fair, spending time with students and sharing what a career in the electrical industry can look like.

When students are introduced to opportunities in the skilled trades early, they begin to see that there are rewarding career paths available right in their own communities.

The industry needs the next generation of builders, problem-solvers, and leaders. That is why we make time for events like this.

Thank you to Ripley Middle School for inviting us to be part of it.

A big milestone this week at one of our current projects.

The team celebrated the topping off of the structure—an important point in the project when the final beam is set and the job shifts from structural work to interior finishes.

Moments like this recognize the hard work of the men and women who show up every day and keep the project moving forward.

For Amteck, it also reflects something just as important: safety. From day one, our goal is to complete every project with zero injuries, and this team continues to deliver.

Congratulations to everyone involved. This milestone is a direct result of your hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job the right way.

Strong projects are built on strong partnerships.

At a large vehicle manufacturing project in South Carolina, our team is working alongside Gray Construction and other trade partners to help bring this facility to life.

The client recently shared this feedback:

“The quality of the work and the level of support we’ve experienced so far have surpassed all expectations.”

The client also recognized Ryan Gorski for his technical expertise, proactive communication, and ability to work closely with the owner, general contractor, and trade partners to keep the project moving forward.

Great work to Ryan and everyone on the project team representing The AMTECK Way in South Carolina!
