Our foremen are the heart of our operation.

Foremen from Amteck Core jobsites recently came together at our Lexington headquarters for our 2026 Foreman Summit.

We spent the day discussing our goals for the year ahead and the things that directly impact success in the field, including production, management, safety and quality.

Our foremen have a tremendous impact on our jobs and our people. The way they lead their crews helps shape the work happening every day.

The ground has been broken. Now it’s time to get to work.

Our team recently celebrated the start of a new distribution center project in Georgia.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with this client and appreciate the opportunity to work together once again. Every project is an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of our work and the commitment our teams bring to the job.

It’s important for our leadership to see the work firsthand.

During the kickoff of a major project in the Southeast, several members of Amteck leadership spent time on site walking the building and seeing where our teams will be putting in the work.

Getting our executives out in the field means more than seeing a project. It gives them the opportunity to connect with our crews, understand the work happening on site and see the projects that keep our people working and create careers across Amteck.

Our crews are the boots on the ground every day, and having leadership there with them matters.

A lot goes into a building before it ever starts operating.

Our Amteck team in the Southeast is making great progress on one of our current projects, with crews installing the electrical and low-voltage infrastructure needed to support the building from the ground up.

Lighting, power, life safety, security and telecommunications are all taking shape as our teams continue to move the project forward.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but the work already in place is a reflection of the quality and effort our people bring to the field every day.

A lot of Amteck employees are contributing to this project, and we’re proud of the work they’re doing.

You can tell a lot about a jobsite by the people leading it.

Our foremen and electrical superintendents are a big part of what makes our crews successful.

They’re leading the work, solving problems, teaching younger electricians and making the calls that keep a project moving. Their experience doesn’t just make a difference on the job. It helps shape the people working alongside them.

Meet Josh Barrett, our newest Project Manager!

With 23 years in the electrical industry, Josh brings a strong mix of field and project experience to the Amteck team. His leadership style is simple: trust his team, mentor where needed, and step in when guidance is needed.

His priorities? Get the job done and do it safely.

The best time to find an electrical issue is before it becomes a problem.

Our Louisville Service team recently completed a preventive maintenance project for Four Roses Distillery, helping keep critical electrical equipment operating safely and reliably.

The team serviced four 2,000-amp switchgear lineups, tested and sampled oil from six medium-voltage transformers, and cleaned, inspected and electrically tested two 2,000-amp medium-voltage switches.

This kind of work helps identify potential issues before they turn into unexpected failures or downtime.

A big part of keeping a facility running is taking care of the equipment before something goes wrong.

A big project needs a great crew.

Our team is still in the early stages of one of our largest projects, and already, there is a lot happening in the field.

This crew brings together experienced electricians from across Amteck and QuickStarters from several of our offices. It is a great opportunity for our younger electricians to learn from the people around them, get hands-on experience and grow into the electricians they are working toward becoming.

And with strong field leadership leading the way, there is no shortage of knowledge to learn from.

Big shoutout to Heidi and Hector De Jesus for their leadership, mentorship and the example they are setting for everyone on site.

A lot has already been accomplished. A whole lot more is still ahead.

We’re excited to watch this team build it.

A Saturday well spent in downtown Louisville.

Three members of our Louisville team represented Amteck at this year’s Touch a Truck event, giving kids in our community the chance to get up close with trucks, equipment, and the people behind the work.

We’re proud to be part of this event each year and even more proud to support opportunities that help educate and connect the next generation with the trades.
