🔥 This Kentucky heat was NO JOKE this week! 🔥

We started tearing into this roof at a local senior living home, and the heat had the shingles so hot and soft that they were literally falling apart as we tried to remove them. 🥵

At that point, we knew we had to adjust the game plan. Instead of pushing through the hottest part of the day, our crew did most of the work early in the mornings and later in the evenings once the sun started going down. Sometimes doing the job right means knowing when conditions just aren’t working in your favor.

We’re incredibly thankful for our guys who worked around the heat, put in some long days, and kept this project moving while making safety a priority. 💪🏠

And these pictures show exactly what we were dealing with—the shingles were basically coming apart in pieces during removal!

🎂 Another trip around the sun!

Today I’m another year older, and I can honestly say I’m just thankful.

Thankful for my family who stands beside me through the long days, late nights, and everything in between. Thankful for the crew I get to work alongside, the customers who trust me with their homes and businesses, and every person who has supported me, referred me, shared a post, or simply put in a good word for us.

Working in the roofing business isn’t always easy. There are long days, hot roofs, unexpected challenges, and plenty of lessons learned along the way—but I wouldn’t trade the relationships and opportunities it has given me.

More than anything, I’m thankful God has blessed me with another year to work hard, love my family, serve others, and keep building something I’m proud of. 🙏

Here’s to another year of life, another year of growth, and hopefully a little more wisdom to go along with these gray hairs. 😂

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the journey. I appreciate you more than you know.

There’s something satisfying about watching the old roof come off and knowing this home is getting a fresh start!

Our crew is hard at work today completing a full roof replacement. And as you can see, we don’t just focus on what’s happening on the roof—we take extra steps to protect the homeowner’s siding, windows, landscaping, lawn, and surrounding property during the tear-off.
