💗 Meet Nakiba Quinn — Senior Human Resources Specialist, breast cancer survivor, and a woman turning her own journey into hope for others.

Today, to honor everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. We’re grateful to Nakiba for sharing her story with us.

At Precise, Nakiba helps employees find the support, resources, and guidance they need to succeed. For her, the most rewarding part is making a positive difference in people’s lives and helping them feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. That same care extends into her advocacy through coaching, speaking engagements, and community involvement.

Diagnosed in May 2023, Nakiba has undergone a double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, and 30 rounds of radiation. She has completed three of her five years of cancer treatment. Through difficult procedures and moments of uncertainty, her faith has remained her anchor. She also credits her husband, family, friends, medical team, and community for the love and encouragement that have helped carry her through.

“While breast cancer is part of my story, it does not define me,” Nakiba shares.

Her experience has deepened her gratitude for each new day and strengthened her desire to walk alongside others through difficult seasons. Through her advocacy, she’s learned that sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is to listen with compassion and remind someone they don’t have to face their challenges alone.

Her message to anyone navigating a diagnosis, survivorship, or supporting a loved one is simple: hold on to hope, give yourself grace, and allow others to walk beside you. Everyone’s journey is different, and a word of encouragement or the steady presence of someone who cares can make a meaningful difference.

⛳️ A swing for community. A win for giving back. 💚

What a way to tee off another incredible year of teamwork, community, and giving back!

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us for our 6th Annual Precise Systems Golf Tournament at Chesapeake Hills Golf Course! From our golfers and volunteers to our sponsors and supporters, you helped make this year’s tournament one for the record books. 🏌️‍♀️

Together, we brought 35 teams, 140 players, and 50+ volunteers to the course for a day filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the communities we call home.

And while everyone brought their A-game to the course, there could only be one winning team… 🏆 Congratulations to the FORE Players on taking home the title!

But beyond the scorecards and the competition, this tournament is about something much bigger. We’re proud to continue supporting the St. Mary's County Family YMCA and its mission to strengthen our Southern Maryland community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
