We’ve got about two weeks to go on our current addition project but we took the time to slip in this job. We were going to wait two weeks but the customer was very impatient and threatened us, so we took the weekend and headed to Altoona to knock this one out. Removed the old wheelchair ramp that was rotting and hit by a snow plow, and replaced everything from the ground up. They say never do a job for a relative but between the hunting stories, marriage advice, and how great a softball player the customer was in 1978, it really wasn’t that bad. Sure he drives a Toyota and hates bicyclists, but down deep he’s not that bad of a guy (unless you ask his wife). He did offer lunch but after smelling squirrel cooking in the crock pot all day we declined. Powered by tootsie pops and Rutter’s tea we pressed on and finished on time. Hopefully this one stays clear of the snow plow! On to the next…..
