Dear Friends, Customers, and Community Partners,
My name is Chris Sanchez, and as of May 1st, I have officially owned Blalock Plumbing Electric & HVAC for three years.
Since 1973, this company has proudly served our community, and when I purchased the business, I understood the responsibility that came with carrying forward a reputation built through decades of hard work, trust, and quality service.
My background began in New Mexico, where my grandfather and uncle owned a small residential two-man heating and air business called Campbell’s Sheet Metal. I started working full time alongside them while attending college after my grandfather retired and my uncle took over the company. That experience taught me the value of hard work, treating customers right, and taking pride in doing quality work.
In 1996, I moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee and continued building my career in the industry, working for two different companies before joining Blalock Plumbing Electric & HVAC in June of 2021.
I have over 35 years of experience in the trades, and becoming the owner of this company has been one of the greatest opportunities and responsibilities of my life.
I’m also blessed to be married to my wife, Jennie, and together we have two daughters. Their support, along with our families over the years, has meant a great deal to me throughout my career and business journey.
It has been a pleasure getting to know and serve the Lewisburg community over the past three years. The support, relationships, and trust we’ve received from local families, businesses, contractors, and industry partners have meant a great deal to me and our entire team.
We provide industrial, commercial, and residential plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services throughout our Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama region.
We handle new construction, renovations, and service work across all divisions.
In addition to our service divisions, Blalock also operates a hardware store, shipping and receiving warehouse, and a full fabrication shop with an automated coil line, plasma table, and industrial brakes, allowing us to better support our customers, contractors, and projects with quality materials and custom fabrication capabilities.
From large industrial facilities and commercial projects to homeowners needing dependable service, our team remains committed to delivering professional work with integrity, reliability, and pride.
Over the past three years, we’ve focused on strengthening and growing the company by:
• Expanding our capabilities across all divisions
• Investing in our employees, training, and equipment
• Improving customer response and communication
• Building long-term relationships with businesses, contractors, and homeowners
• Continuing the dependable service this company has been known for since 1973
Before I recognize those who have helped make our success possible, I want to thank God for the blessings, opportunities, and support that have guided me throughout this journey.
I would personally like to thank Kevin and Debbie Blalock for the opportunity and trust they placed in me during this transition. Their family built a respected company and reputation in this community, and I’m honored to continue carrying that legacy forward.
I also want to thank the dedicated employees, both previous to my ownership and present who continue to work hard every day. I especially want to recognize Renee of the Blalock family and an employee of over 33 years. Joel handles our finances and has been with the company for over 22 years, and both Renee and Joel continue to work alongside us today. Their dedication, loyalty, and continued commitment to the company mean a great deal to all of us.
Buford continues to run our fabrication shop and has been with Blalock for over 35 years. His talent and experience allow him to fabricate just about anything you can imagine.
Donna Rae has overseen our hardware store for over 18 years and continues to be an important part of our daily operations.
Josh Cagle runs our plumbing department, has been with Blalock for over 16 years, and is extremely knowledgeable in the trade.
I also want to thank Neil Reitz and the men who followed us from our previous company in Murfreesboro to Blalock Plumbing Electric & HVAC. Your loyalty, hard work, and belief in me have played a major role in everything we’ve accomplished together over the past three years.
My brother, Mike Sanchez, also joined Blalock Plumbing Electric & HVAC nearly three years ago and now runs our residential and service department. Mike has over 30 years of experience in the trades, and his leadership, knowledge, and commitment to our customers have been an important part of our continued growth and success.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together in a short amount of time. None of it would be possible without the trust and support of our customers, employees, vendors, and community partners.
Every project we take on — whether industrial, commercial, or residential — represents an opportunity to continue earning the reputation that generations before us worked so hard to build.
As we move forward, our commitment remains simple: provide high-quality workmanship, honest service, and dependable support for every customer we serve.
