Sometimes the flooring problem isn’t the floor. 👀

This customer contacted Oak Ridge Floors and Interiors after discovering severely buckled hardwood floors in their getaway home. Initially, they believed the damage was caused by the A/C being turned off while they were away.

But instead of simply replacing the damaged flooring, we wanted to know WHY it happened.

After taking moisture readings and performing a thorough investigation, we discovered excessive moisture underneath the home was the real problem.

We made recommendations to address the moisture issue before installing a single new board. Once the underlying problem was corrected, we returned, removed the damaged material, prepared the subfloor, installed new hardwood, and brought this beautiful home back together.

The finished product speaks for itself. 🔥

Good flooring work isn’t just about making it look right—it’s about figuring out what went wrong so you don’t have to pay for it twice.

If you have buckling, cupping, moisture damage, or another flooring problem, give Oak Ridge Floors and Interiors a call. We don’t just replace floors—we look for the cause.

Wide-Plank White Oak Done Right. 🤎

This beautiful wire-brushed white oak brings exactly what we love about real hardwood—natural grain, character, texture, and subtle variation from plank to plank.

The wide planks combined with the soft, neutral finish give this space a clean, high-end look without taking away from the natural beauty of the wood.

If you’re considering new hardwood floors, we can help with everything from product selection to professional installation.

New hardwood. Existing hardwood. One seamless floor.

Matching new hardwood to flooring that’s already been in a home for years takes more than simply finding the same species of wood.

For this project, we installed new hardwood and are sanding and finishing it to blend with the existing hardwood already in the home.

The goal? When we’re finished, you shouldn’t be able to tell where the old floor stops and the new floor begins.

At Oak Ridge Floors & Interiors, we handle hardwood installation, additions, repairs, sanding, staining and refinishing from start to finish.

If you’re remodeling and want to extend your existing hardwood into additional rooms, you may not have to replace the entire floor to get a consistent look.

FROM CONCRETE ➡️ TO HARDWOOD 🔥

This one made a huge difference.

We transformed this open-concept living and kitchen area from polished concrete into beautiful hardwood flooring, bringing warmth and character into an already incredible home.

With the modern finishes, natural stone, large windows and clean lines, the wood was the missing piece that tied everything together.

Proper prep. Careful protection of the existing finishes. Professional installation. Completely different feel when we were finished.

Swipe through to see the transformation. 👀

Another project we’re proud to have been a part of!

We had the opportunity to build and install a wheelchair-accessible hardwood stage for one of our local elementary schools.

This wasn’t just a flooring installation — the project included the stage, multiple levels and steps, finished edges, and an integrated accessibility ramp, all brought together with beautiful hardwood.

Projects like this are especially rewarding because the finished product will be used by students, teachers, and families for years to come.

Installation to sanding and finishing, Oak Ridge Floors & Interiors can handle hardwood projects well beyond the average floor.
