Every June, the whole PTO board changes hands. And every June, something gets lost along the way:

📒 The treasurer's spreadsheet, still on a personal laptop
🔑 The only login to Square, or to the PTO's page
🏦 The bank account, still signed by last year's officers
🎪 What the carnival cost, what it made, and which vendor to never call again

PTO HQ keeps all of it with the PTO, not with whoever held the job. Each officer role carries its own access, so a new treasurer gets the books on day one.

The June handoff page lists every task, who owns it and when it's due. It flags any outside account that only one person can get into. It also keeps each event's notes for next year's chair.

After more than 70 years in the roofing industry, Arabie Roofing has a lot of history to tell.

Founded in 1956 in Southwest Louisiana, Arabie Roofing grew as a family affair. The Arabie family was known to spend their days building and repairing roofs across local parishes and their evenings playing Cajun fiddle tunes.

🏡✨ When You Love Your Rate But Outgrew Your House ✨🏡

Let's be honest — with an interest rate like theirs, this family wasn't going ANYWHERE. But growing kids and a house busting at the seams? Something had to give. So instead of moving, we designed the house they actually needed around the one they already had.

This remodel + addition includes:

🛏️ A brand new primary suite — parents finally get their retreat
🚗 Expanded garage space (because teenagers come with vehicles)
💼 A dedicated home office in the addition

And here's the part we're proudest of: matched brick, matched stone, matched rooflines. When we design a remodel, we make sure the new blends so seamlessly with the original that no one can tell a remodel was ever committed. 🕵️ No evidence. No witnesses. Just one beautiful home.

🐾 LAUNDRY ROOM WITH A DOG WASH 🐾

That's the detail everybody stops on, but it's not even my favorite part of this plan.

The kitchen has two islands — one for prepping, one for sitting — and it opens straight into the living and dining, so nobody's stuck working alone while everyone else is in the other room. Wood tray ceilings in the living room and the primary suite top off this luxury home.

Then there are the porches: one for al fresco dining, and another for outdoor living. Both covered.

🛏️ 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths (a 3.5 bath option is available on this plan)
🍳 Double island kitchen, open to living and dining

Not every project on my board is one I designed — and I like it that way. This modern farmhouse is the work of architect Jerry Johnson with JLJ Design Studio in Richardson. He handles the design, I handled the drafting and the rendering.

🪟 Board-and-batten with stone accents and TWO full-height stone chimneys
🚪 Standing seam porch roof over a stained wood entry
🌿 Steep gables and shuttered windows for a clean, classic front elevation
