🤍 A New Chapter for CopperStone Custom Homes
Rooted in family. Built on experience. Growing together.
They say the best things in life begin at home. And for us, this next chapter of CopperStone Custom Homes began right where so many of our favorite memories have been made—gathered together as a family.
Somewhere between the family dinners, conversations, laughter, and dreaming about what the future might hold, our family came to a pretty simple realization:
We had all worked hard to build great businesses on our own, but what if the best thing we could build was something together?

We are so excited to share that CopperStone Custom Homes is growing, and we’re joining forces with some of our favorite people in the whole world—our family.
Dad, Eddie , brother, Chad, and big sister, Amber, are joining us (DeWayne & Windsor) as we bring our individual talents, experiences, and passions together under one roof.
And while being family is what brought us together, it’s the experience and dedication behind this team that makes us so excited about what’s ahead.
Together, we bring more than 75 years of combined construction experience, eight graduate degrees in business management, marketing, and education, and three construction professionals licensed by the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors. Our licensed contractors have each completed the rigorous licensing process, including extensive examinations in Construction Business & Law and Construction Trades.
That’s a whole lot of knowledge, experience, and hard work gathered around one table.
But if you ask us what matters most, it isn’t the degrees, licenses, knowledge, or years of experience.
It’s the values that brought us here:
The belief that your word should mean something.
That the little details matter just as much as the big ones.
That honesty and integrity should never be negotiable.
That quality craftsmanship is worth the extra effort.
And that the way you treat people will always be just as important as the work you do for them.
Those are the things we were raised to believe, and they’re the foundation of everything we’re building together.
We’ve always said that a home is so much more than four walls and a roof. It’s where ordinary days become favorite memories, where holidays are celebrated, stories are told, and generations gather. It’s the backdrop for a family’s life, and being trusted to build that space is something we don’t take lightly.
And now, as our own family grows together in business, that meaning feels even more special.
Because to us, being a family-owned business means more than sharing a last name. It means making room at the table for the families who trust us with their dreams.
When you build with CopperStone, you’re not simply another project on our schedule. You’re part of our story, too…and we want you to feel the same care, honesty, and commitment that we’d give to someone sitting around our own kitchen table.
Over the next week or two, we’ll be introducing you to each member of our team, one by one. We can’t wait for you to get to know the people, personalities, and passions behind CopperStone.
And while I may be a little biased, I truly believe we’ve brought together one of the finest custom home building teams in the South. A team with the experience to build exceptionally, the eye to create beautifully, and the heart to do it the right way.

As we turn the page on this new chapter, we’re reminded that some of the most beautiful things we build aren’t houses at all. They’re the relationships, the trust, and the legacy we leave behind.
