There’s a LOT more that goes into a proper HVAC installation. At Shaws Home Comfort, we make sure your home is ready for that new system by checking the ductwork and making sure your home can pass Title 24 testing.

Another FREE 2nd Opinion! 🔧👀

This time, we agreed with the previous company’s diagnosis — the compressor is OUT! 😬

But before jumping straight to a replacement, Damien made a few phone calls and did some digging. Good news… the compressor is still available! 🙌

We gave the customer all of his options, including replacing the compressor and getting the system back up and running. But after talking it over, he said he’s reached the point where he’s ready to upgrade.

So Damien laid out the repair options just in case, as well as the options to upgrade the entire HVAC system — giving the customer the information he needed to make the decision that was right for him.

That’s what a FREE 2nd Opinion is all about: no pressure, just options and honest answers. 💯

These two teamed up, got to work, and are doing what they do best — working together to get that system back up and running! 💪🔧

But let’s be honest… is it really hard work when you get to hang out with your buddy all day? 😂

Some days you’re sweating over a commercial unit, crawling around equipment, and putting in the work… but having a good friend beside you makes it a whole lot better! 🙌

🧊🥶 WHEN YOUR AC DECIDES TO TURN INTO A FREEZER! 🥶🧊

Bill headed out to a system that wasn’t working… and when he arrived, he found the unit completely iced over! 😳❄️

So how does an AC even get THAT frozen?! There are actually several possible reasons — which is exactly why a full evaluation is so important. Bill took the time to diagnose the system, identify the actual issue, explain the findings to the homeowner, and provide her with her repair options.

The best part? We got that system back up and running! 🙌❄️

Now, this system is over 14 years old and uses R-22 refrigerant, so naturally, replacement may be something to consider down the road. But here’s the thing: we don’t automatically tell you that you need a new system just because yours is older.

If the homeowner wants to repair it and keep it going, those are her options. Our job is to give you the information, explain your choices, and let YOU decide what makes the most sense for your home and budget. 🏠❤️
