TROPICAL UPDATE: We now have Invest 96L (Red area) and Invest 95L (Orange area) in the Atlantic. Odds have increased to 70% for the Red Area to form. Next name is . Here's the latest and what to know:
Invest 96L: Over the next 3 days, conditions appear favorable for better organization. By Day 4 and 5, it may encounter dry air and some shear, which would slow or even halt strengthening. If it can successfully battle those elements, there’s the potential for better ingredients down the road again in the long range (Days 7+). The majority of models are currently showing a turn to the north away from the United States and out to sea. The American and European models support the idea, however, Google brings the system closer to the Bahamas and even the United States. Remember that these tracks are not a guarantee, considering it hasn’t even formed yet. Can’t stress that enough. Model changes are always possible, especially this early. We’ll look for model consistency after it tries to form a center.
Invest 95L: No threat to the United States. Odds have lowered to 40%. Only impacts would be to eastern Canada, specifically Newfoundland, by tonight into early Wednesday with fast-moving rain and some breezy weather. Nothing significant or out of the ordinary.
I'll continue to keep you updated 24/7 with no hype, just the facts. Thanks everyone!
