Love bugs:
• Don’t bite or sting
• Show up in massive seasonal swarms
• Love hot pavement + bright surfaces

“Can pest control get rid of love bugs?”

Honestly: Not really.

They don’t live in homes or form nests I can treat, so there’s no way to eliminate them at the source like ants or roaches. It’s just a seasonal Florida swarm event, everyone deals with it at once.

💡 What pest control can do:
Help reduce other nuisance pests around your home and keep a stronger barrier in place during peak bug seasons.

⚠️ Quick tip: Don’t let them sit on your car, rinse them off fast. In the Florida sun, they can leave an acidic residue on paint.

La pregunta que mas recibo 👇🏽
“¿El control de plagas puede eliminarlos?”

Honestamente: No realmente.

Estos insectos no viven dentro de las casas ni forman nidos que pueda tratar, así que no se pueden eliminar en la fuente como las hormigas o las cucarachas. Es simplemente un evento estacional en Florida, todos en la zona los ven al mismo tiempo.

💡 Lo que sí puede hacer el control de plagas:
Ayudar a reducir otras plagas alrededor de tu hogar y mantener una mejor barrera protectora durante temporadas altas de insectos.

⚠️ Consejo: No los dejes en tu carro, lávalos lo antes posible. Con el sol de Florida pueden dejar un residuo ácido que daña la pintura.
