That’s a wrap in Albion! 👏

From carpentry and prep to the final coats, this deck project was a full team effort.

Nate handled the carpentry work, replacing spindles and bottom railing boards and priming the new wood. Roger took care of the power washing, and Roger, Derrick, Meg and Jake completed the prep and painting.

Two coats of Sherwin-Williams Porch and Floor Enamel finished off the deck boards, spindles, posts and railings.

The local birds would like their workspace back. 🐦😂

Our crew spends a surprising amount of time on rooftops, and this project is definitely keeping that trend going! When a house has this many windows, expertly caulking around every one of them can take you to some interesting places.

The crew is making their way around this large project—one window at a time. More to come from this job site!

A full wash day in Warsaw! 💦

Roger and Derrick are on site today tackling the exterior cleaning around this home — power washing the concrete, hard washing the house, and completing a roof treatment.

These photos caught them during the rinse-down after the washing was complete — with one curious praying mantis keeping an eye on the crew from the landscaping. 👀

A lot of work went into this Columbia City interior!

Our crew removed wallpaper, repaired stress cracks and imperfections in the walls, and primed the areas where wallpaper had been removed.

Where loose corner tape was found between the ceiling and walls, the crew removed and repaired it and re textured the areas of ceiling that needed repair. In the living room, a water stain on the ceiling was treated with stain-blocking primer, then color matched and spot painted. To finish the project, we applied two coats of paint to the walls, window trim, front door and sidelights, and baseboard trim.

We power washed this deck to get it ready, and today we were back on site putting a fresh coat of Sherwin-Williams Porch and Floor Enamel on the deck and railing.

And yes — Derrick and Roger are working in their socks. Once the coating started going down, the shoes came off to help keep dirt and debris away from the fresh surface.

Just one of those behind-the-scenes details you don’t always see in the finished project photos.

We’ll share this one again when it’s done!

Derrick had a pretty great workspace this week. ☀️

Our crew wrapped up work on this beautiful lake home — one of our biggest, and one of our last, exterior projects of the summer.

With school starting and summer winding down, our exterior season is beginning to wrap up, too. That means our focus will soon shift indoors.

If you’ve been thinking about refreshing a room, updating your kitchen cabinets, tackling drywall repairs or checking another interior project off your list, now is a great time to get on our schedule before the holidays.
