Position of Superintendent:

Responsible for overseeing field operations, project ex*****on, scheduling, manpower, safety, and coordination with owners and general contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with project management and estimating teams throughout the bid, pre-construction, and project kickoff processes.
* Provide input on bid strategy, crew sizes, equipment needs, manpower requirements, and project logistics.
* Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop detailed schedules and establish efficient workflow.
* Coordinate project setup and ongoing operations with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and field crews.
* Monitor project schedules, manpower, production goals, and workflow to keep projects on track.
* Lead and support jobsite safety efforts, including reviewing safety plans and coordinating site safety meetings.
* Attend pre-construction and progress meetings and maintain strong communication with owners and general contractors.
* Identify and resolve issues related to plans, specifications, scheduling, and field operations.
* Coordinate RFIs and change requests with the Project Engineer and assist with cost projections.
* Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen future project ex*****on.
* Oversee project closeout, including final punch lists and owner/general contractor walkthroughs.
* Support the development of company standards, processes, and training for project and field personnel.
* Participate in superintendent meetings and contribute to ongoing team development and company initiatives.
* Support business development and company culture through professional relationships, community involvement, and collaboration with field and office personnel.

Position Summary:

The Superintendent works with the management staff. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Works with the project team during the kick-off process, supervises and participates in planning and set-up of projects with the Project Engineer to resolve problems, scheduling, and workflow, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

-Works with the project team during bid process
-Provides input for bid strategy including crew size and equipment recommendations
-Performs quantity take-off as needed for projects
-Attends pre-bid/pre-con meetings as needed
-Supervises and participates in planning and set-up of projects
-Prepares/set-up project by coordinating with Owner/General Contractor
-Ensures formulation and ex*****on of operational production goals
-Reviews project safety plans-coordinates with crews for site safety meetings
-Determines manpower requirements

Develops a detailed project schedule:

-Reviews the drawings and specifications to plan and prioritize scheduled activities
-Ensures the proper sequence of any sub-contractors
-Update job schedules on an ongoing basis
-Continually review documents to identify items, which could improve the project and/or future project to save money
-Maintain manpower/schedule to supply project projections

Communicate with Owner/General Contractor to coordinate workflow, facilitate communications and resolve problems:

-Attend weekly progress meetings as needed
-Resolve problems regarding plans and specs
-Coordinates RFI’s and change request with Project Engineer
-Assist with cost projections
-Maintain high level contact with owner/General Contractor
-Performs close out duties
-Reviews and completes final punch list with Project Engineer
-Conducts walk thru with Owner/General Contractor and Project Engineer
-Develops techniques for use by Project Engineer and other staff on maintaining paperwork and other Company standards
-Attends Superintendent meetings
-Develops and provides training for others, as requested

Supports Company business development efforts on on-going basis:

-Perform community functions that promote the company
-Promote company camaraderie with field and office personnel
-Perform other duties as assigned

Job Title: Laborer

Essential Job Functions:

Under the direction of the Project Supervisor, the position requires the following.

* Operate and properly maintain construction equipment
* Assist skilled tradespeople as needed
* Prepare construction sites through demolition, cleaning, and material staging
* Load and unload construction materials
* Assemble and disassemble temporary structures (scaffolding, barriers, etc.)
* Follow all instructions provided by the Project Supervisor
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Requirements:

* OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training (required)
* Working knowledge of safe practices for tools and equipment used on construction job sites
* Competent in proper tool handling and usage
* Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
* Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and performance standards
* Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical & Mental Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including, but not limited to:

* Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials
* Bending, twisting, kneeling, walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods
* Performing repetitive physical motions as required to complete job duties
* Maintaining focus and awareness in a fast-paced construction environment

Education:

* High School Diploma or GED required • Experience (Preferred)

* 1–2 years of experience in commercial construction or a related labor field
