Leechburg Pink Day wouldn't be complete without a little extra polish. 💗

We helped donated a dumpster for the day and sent Polly out to walk around and say hi. Turns out a green hat and a white beard blend right in with pink day, who knew.

Proud to be part of something that brings the whole town out every year.

Full bed refresh in Kittanning 🍂

Bushes trimmed, beds weeded, grass removed, bushes/plants installed, fresh mulch down, and Belgian block edging installed around the whole thing. That edging isn't just set on the ground either. Two inches of base, two inches of mortar, and a mortar backing to actually hold it in place for the long haul.

It's the kind of prep work you'll never see once the job's done, but it's the difference between edging that holds up and edging that shifts in a year.

Meet the newest member of the crew (sort of). 🍂

Aeration season is here, and here's why it matters: your lawn gets walked on, mowed, rained on, and packed down all year. That compacted soil makes it hard for water, air, and nutrients to actually reach the roots, which is exactly why late summer and fall lawns start looking tired no matter how much you water them.

Aeration pulls small cores out of the ground to relieve that compaction. Paired with overseeding right after, the new seed actually has open soil to root into instead of fighting a hard surface. Fall's the best window for this because the grass is actively growing and recovering, not just surviving the heat.

If your lawn's looking a little worn down, this is might be why.

It's aeration season! 🍂

Today's the full fall lineup in Kittanning: aeration, overseeding, and fertilizer, all in one visit. The aerator pulls cores out of the ground so new seed actually has somewhere to root instead of sitting on packed soil. Seed goes right into those holes, fertilizer feeds it all, and fall does the rest. It's the one time of year grass actually wants to grow.

This customer's been with us a while, and told us this is the best their yard has looked in 25 years. That's the kind of thing that makes the early mornings worth it.

You know the strip of concrete nobody thinks twice about? Brady and Chace turned that into the best part of this cut in Ford City this week. From grass creeping onto the sidewalk to a blade-edged line clean enough to set a ruler to. 📏

It's not the flashy part of the job. No mulch bed, no big reveal. Just a mower on the lawn, a blower cleaning up after, and a crew that doesn't call it done until that edge is right.

The homeowner told us it's never looked this good. The crew walked off with a little extra for the effort — we'll take that as confirmation we're doing something right.
