This is a job that we had rebuilt for Rick’s All About Pavers and he turned around and screws us over by refusing to pay the payment of $2,460.00. They had three different crews go to the job and tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. He told us he didn’t care what needed to be done or if it took us 9 months to fix he just wanted it finished correctly. In all the customers were so unsatisfied with Rick and everyone else and even Rick knew the entire job needed rebuilt, in all we had to tear up and rebuild the entire job site. The drive way and walk way added to be 820 square feet. Our team made great friends with the customer and produced the best quality to offer to the customer. This is all done under Rick’s all about pavers warranty he supplies with his product. As his subcontractors we are paid $3.00. Per sq ft, or as he says $300.00 a pallet that’s equivalent to $3.00 a sq ft. The hole job was so bad when we come there because the water flooded into the customers garage as we disassembled they had eliminated the driveways swell by putting dirt over the concrete that was almost 5 inches thick. That’s what caused the main issue not only was it built incorrectly the water flooding was the biggest issue, as they also didn’t install underground drainage systems for the houses down spouts. So because of such a difference from the grade it needed to the grade they put it at along with not putting the pavers close to the house it had a 1 inch gap from there pavers to our new build. So there was no possible way to blend the repairs in. After a few days Rick then starts to treat our team with disrespect, spying on our team, telling lies about us to the customer that was totally bizarre, as a business owner and someone who stands on business I told him how I felt and we refuse to do any more work for him but would continue the job . He then try’s to call the customer and tell them that he fired us (not true) and that he would have his best crew that he never even met before come and finish. Well we established such amazing product that the customer refused for us to leave that they are finished with him and will have us finish the project. In total because we won’t get into all the details he then turns around and says we took it apon ourselfs to do the whole job when that wasn’t what he was going to pay for. And then proceeds to make more lies about beautiful pavers and the owners. The reality of it is he was going to end up making his company look bad in the first place weather we came along or not. He would have kept stalling the project out even longer after the customers delt with the head ache of it not being built and built to the customers visions. He would of continued to send crew after crew that simply just doesn’t have the proper training when it comes to high quality installs like how we provide and that’s not a problem because they played there roll and did the job. He would have spent more money in the end with how he operates business then what he owes us, $2,460.00
We are extremely disappointed in him from disrespecting us personally , our business, disrespecting the amazing customers, had a couple of woman in tears, he straight put us through the ringer, told ridiculous lies about us and then refused payment. This is theft of services of $2,460.00 that needs to be paid. He took food out of our businesses family’s mouths and put people in bad situations.
