Almost 10 years ago, Joe and I started Stoic Renovations with about $500 in tools, a $600 work van, and a lot to learn.

Since then, we’ve taken our share of hits, made mistakes, learned some hard lessons, and kept moving forward.

Those lessons are ultimately what led us to build **The Stoic Experience** — a better, more organized way to remodel.

Pretty cool to have our story featured by Voyage Pennsylvania.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about where Stoic is going.

When my brother and I first started Stoic Renovations, he used to put these little smiley-face stickers on our tools so we knew which ones were ours.

I used to make fun of him for it. 😂

Fast forward 9 years…

We had loaned one of our tools to my grandfather years ago. I came across it again recently, and there it was—

that same little smiley-face sticker. 🙂

I knew immediately: That’s ours.

It’s funny how something I gave my brother a hard time about ended up surviving all these years and becoming a little piece of the beginning of our business.

Nine years later, we’re still here.

And apparently…so are his smiley-face stickers. 😂
