June in Southwest Ohio is when the humidity shows up and stays. Your AC has two jobs in this climate, cooling the air and pulling moisture out of it, and a system that handles temperature fine can still leave your house feeling sticky and heavy. If you walk into your living room at 72 degrees and it still feels damp, the problem is usually not the thermostat. Oversized systems, short cycling, or drainage issues all show up this time of year. Lebanon, Mason, Springboro, and West Chester homeowners, if your house has that summer clamminess, give us a call. There is usually a fix and it usually isn't a new system.
