Training the Tacos (ram lambs being raised for freezer camp) and Maestro (Mini Nubian buckling) to the electric fence. When they have it figured out they will move out to pasture rotation with the big boys and the doelings will move here for their introduction. This is right outside the front door and a little unconventional, it means we can keep checking on them and hear if anyone gets caught in the fence fast.

It is way too hot and humid today to work outside. Fences got repaired in the early morning and then we decided to....pressure can so the inside of the house could be hot and humid too. Makes sense right? We need to make room in the freezers so we can freeze some honey frames.

It's not raining so we will get fence repairs done this weekend. We also want to get hydrangeas planted, get another coat of paint on some cabinets, move some electrical and mount a new ceiling fan, and deep clean the brooders and stalls. I also want to sneak in a batch of pressure canning. I have chicken in buttermilk for fried chicken for dinner. Feeling productive.
