We cleaned the retaining wall for a customer we completed their hardscaping job around seven years ago. We also put fresh sand in the joints after it was pressure washed from Showers Pressure Washing. We will be returning next week to seal the patio.

Conners Landscaping installed this hardscaping job, which consisted of a patio, firepit, steps, retaining wall, and bar, approximately eight years ago. Randy from Showers Pressure Washing cleaned the patio last week. We were contracted to replenish the sand and apply a sealant, but upon arrival, it became apparent that the retaining wall required cleaning prior to the scheduled work. The white, powdery buildup visible on your retaining wall is a clear indication of efflorescence, a phenomenon where salt and mineral deposits are brought to the surface by moisture. To restore the wall to its original condition, we will thoroughly saturate the area, utilize a stiff wire brush and diluted acid solution to scrub away the deposits, and then rinse the wall completely.
