Our team finished Kennesaw Primary Care & Psychiatry in Kennesaw, GA in about ten weeks.

For a medical practice, the timeline is a big deal. Doctors can't see patients in a space until it's finished and signed off, so we keep the trades lined up and the job moving.

Throwback to the L&L Hawaiian Barbecue we built out in Dacula, GA.

It's a 1,200 SF space with the ALOHA counter up front and the dining room running along the storefront glass.

Construction is underway on the new Zaxby's in Zebulon, GA, and this one is a ground-up build.

We got a time-lapse camera on the site before the first machines showed up, so we'll have the whole thing start to finish. These first few weeks are site work, grading, and the stone going down for the building pad.

Foundation is next. More as it goes up.

Travis Ford is our Director of Preconstruction. He builds the detailed estimates and manages permitting before anyone breaks ground, and he directs and mentors our team of estimators.

Last month his proposal won us a Kilwins in Orlando. This came back with the award:

Today we pause to remember every life lost on September 11, 2001, and every hand that answered the call.

This was a Cricket Wireless before it was a bank.

The PNC branch in College Park is complete. We started May 18 and wrapped July 31, taking a small retail storefront and rebuilding it as a full branch.

That change of use is the job. A phone store is one open room. A branch needs a teller line, glass fronted offices, an ATM on the exterior wall and a vestibule inside, a back office for the staff, and a lounge that has to feel like somewhere you would actually sit down.

The ceiling is what pulls it together. Wood slats with lighting run through them, over the lounge and the open floor.

Today we honor the hard work of our team and all of our partners.

A commercial building is the work of a lot of people who never get their name on it. The subcontractors who show up early and stay late, and the clients who trusted us with a job this year.

HL Contractors just passed 11 years in business.

Eleven years, and eleven states we are licensed to build in. The team works out of Atlanta and Tampa, and the jobs run from Texas to the Carolinas.

Bank branches, fitness studios, restaurants, medical offices, retail. Different brand standards and a different set of inspectors on every one of them. Handling that so our clients open on schedule is the job.
